Flash! Writing Very Short Stories

Learn the craft of writing flash fiction from award-winning author and arts champion Cindi Boiter.
After an introduction to working within the confines of this unique story format, you will have time to start a new project, as well as share (if you wish) and get feedback and tips on how to finish.

Cynthia (Cindi) Boiter, Editor-in-Chief of Jasper magazine and Founder of The Jasper Project, is a six-time SC Fiction Project winner, a three time winner of the Piccolo Fiction Open, winner of the Porter Fleming Award for fiction, and the winner of the W. W. Norton WOW Flash Fiction award. She is the author of Buttered Biscuits—Short Stories from the South, co-author of Red Social with Alejandro Garcia-Lemos, editor of The Limelight, volume 1, as well as contributor to State of the Heart and Inheritance. She was the 2014 recipient of the Verner Award, SC's highest statewide honor bestowed in the arts, and the 2018 Lucy Hampton Bostick Award for significantly advancing the community's interest in books and libraries.
