Age Ready - Utilizing Home Health Services
Saturday, May 11, 2024 3 p.m. – 4 p.m.
As we age, the value of independence and comfort in our own homes grows, yet everyday tasks and health needs can pose challenges. Home health services offer solutions to these issues, and our informative class is tailored for older adults and their caregivers to explore these vital services. In this class, you'll gain insights into a variety of services that ensure safe and happy living at home. A local expert will guide you through the process of accessing these services, discussing insurance coverage and eligibility requirements. By the end of the class, you'll have a clear understanding of the available options and the confidence to make informed decisions about your care, helping you maintain your independence and well-being at home.
This program will be presented by Dr. Shaun Owens and Mike Leonard, of the Healthy Aging Research and Technology (HART) Lab at USC.
