Hampton Street Plaza
Customers can now enjoy nearly 8,000 sqft of green space at Main. Open during library hours, the plaza is located on the corner of Hampton and Park Streets and offers customers a combination of outdoor seating, Wi-Fi accessibility and a unique space to safely enjoy outdoor programming.

Walker Local and Family History Center
Thanks to the library's robust digital collection, regional news and obituary resources, customers around the world can research their family history and historic local people, places and events.
Farmers Market
Every Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., Richland Library Main hosts a farmers market as part of an ongoing initiative to bring access to affordable nutrition to the community.




Theater
From documentary screenings to holiday favorites, author events and community conversations, the Second Level Theater offers the perfect setting to connect with your friends and neighbors.

Makerspace & Studios
Library customers can attend classes in the Studios as well as complete an orientation to work independently in the spaces. With areas focusing on creative entrepreneurship, writing, media, making, and studio art, there is something for everyone, from the dabbler to the professional.

The Studios consist of a Makerspace, Fiber Arts Studio, Production Stage, Post-Production Lab, Art Studio, Theater and an Artist-in-Residence Studio.

Meeting Spaces

Teen Center
Designed exclusively for customers ages 12-18, the Teen Center is the perfect spot to hang out with friends, game on the latest console, or create something new in our fully-equipped makerspace.
