With the New Year just days away we are all focused on our goals and how we plan to obtain them. Here are a few things I've used to help me stay on track and knock out my goals each year.
Affirmations
If you speak it something is bound to happen. Typically done at the start of your day to create a positive headspace for you to become a more positive and productive person. Affirmations are a great tool to help reprogram your brain. Turn that self-doubt frown upside down and start your morning with a positive cheer.
Vision Boards
This visually appealing display of all things you wish to achieve is by far one of the greatest tools to help you stay on track in my opinion. Put pictures of places you want to go, things you want to do, and quotes that will help you along the way on a poster board and BOOM! You’ve got a vision board. Hang it up somewhere you can’t help but look at each day to keep you focused and your eye on the prize.
Planners
Big or small these handy helpers get your days all organized and help you put your tasks into perspective. You can plan your life ensuring you stay on track with work, school, family, and friends. Add cool stickers, washi tapes, and colorful pens to make it more visually appealing and fun. Write everything down from TV shows you want to watch to goals you want to accomplish each week. You can also keep track of your budget making it a one-stop shop for all of your personal and professional organizational need.
Now it's time for you to do the work. Those goals aren't going to accomplish themselves. Figure out what keeps you focused and stick with it. Stay positive as much as possible, work hard all the time, make it happen no matter what.
