Art can be a wonderful way for children to express themselves and explore the world around them. Puffy paint encourages creativity and sensory play. Children will love painting and creating with this messy craft while enhancing their art skills. To create this craft you will only need a few items. Puffy paint can expand, so be sure to use a small amount when mixing and dress for a mess.

Instructions:

First, gather all of your supplies. The following supplies is needed:

In a bowl, add equal parts glue and shaving cream. Use a paint brush or utensil to mix the two together. It will become very puffy.

adding color

Next, add food coloring to the mixture. This is great way to investigate how colors blend and make new colors. To create more vibrant colors, just add a more few more drops of food coloring.

Once you have all the colors you would like, draw a picture on paper as a guide or free-hand your creation.

Congratulations! Your puffy paint masterpiece is complete. Allow a few hours for your painting to dry. Then, hang it up so others can admire your artwork.

Continue to create more works of art and try mixing the colors while you paint. This will give your artwork colorful swirls.
