Cuddle Up with a Good Book

School Readiness Skill:  "Children develop interest in books and motivation to read." 

 

Grow Your Child's Love of Books:

  • Set a reading routine. Whether you wake up or go to bed with books, it's all about finding a time daily to share stories together.
  • Saturday Storytime is magic. Check out your closest Richland Library location offering storytime and start your weekend at the library.
  • Get caught reading! Read anything as long as it's not a screen--magazines, cookbooks, repair manuals--and make sure your little one sees you.
