SNAP-Ed Cooking Matters® for Parents- Week 2
Wednesday, November 8, 2023 5:45 p.m. – 7:45 p.m.
Join us as SNAP-Ed presents this hands-on, 6-week course that is helping to end childhood hunger by inspiring families to make healthy, affordable food choices.
Taught by a Registered Dietitian and Cooking Matters® chef, this course covers food safety, meal preparation, grocery shopping, food budgeting and nutrition. Participants take home a bag of groceries at the end of each class to practice the skills learned in class. Registration is required.
SNAP-Ed's Healthy Food Initiative works to empower low-income families, kids, and adults with the knowledge and skills to prepare healthy and tasty meals on a budget.
For your safety and ours, please stay home if you have COVID-19, if you have symptoms of COVID-19, if you are waiting for COVID-19 test results, or may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
