Earn Your High School Diploma

It’s never been easier for adults to earn their high school diploma.

Career Online High School is free for adults age 21 or older who have a permanent Richland County address and a valid library card.

The online program provides:

  • A personal academic coach to help you succeed
  • Convenient 24/7 online classroom access
  • A career certificate earned in one of 10 in-demand industries
  • Tools that you need to start or advance your career, including a resume and cover letter

How it Works:

Step 1: Take the online self-assessment.

Step 2: Enroll in and complete a prerequisite course in two weeks or less with a score of 70% or higher.

Step 3: A Career Online High School team member will contact you to schedule your interview.

Step 4: To prepare for your interview, make sure you have a phone with voicemail set up and one active email account you can access.
